Description

Very clear and bright and a light straw hue. Has a delicate but complex nose with lovely aromas of apple skin and pear. A fresh and very well weighted wine. It is not overtly fruity but very textural and mouth filling with red apple and brown pear flavours. There’s a touch of drying astringency as a small component was given skin contact before fermentation and the slight ‘chalkiness’ contributes to its good length of flavour. A crisp dry Pinot Grigio that is best enjoyed as a young wine.
